What you get
Training and a competition; winning teams get a HK$100,000 Creative Micro Fund grant
A training and competition programme for local university teams, run by Cyberport with the universities. The 2026 edition focused on AI, blockchain, cybersecurity and data science.
Who can apply
- Aged 18 to 30 on the nomination deadline
- Nominated by one of the co-organising universities
Tips
- Each university sets its own nomination deadline, usually in February or March, so check with your entrepreneurship centre early in the year.
- Read the eligibility rules twice. Most rejections are about company age, ownership or where the work happens, not the idea.
- Plan cash flow. Many schemes pay in instalments or reimburse costs after you spend them.
- Keep records from day one. Every scheme audits spending, and clean books make the next application easier.
